I think I’m to going to buy this Model 94 from a friend of my father’s . I believe he will take $500 for it if I’m willing to pay that when I see it in person . What do you guys think , worth it or should I pass it up , it’s not in great condition but not too bad .

I’ve always wanted a ’94 that was manufactured in 1956 – specifically late November 
, so I’m a bit biased by that. Having said that, post-64 rattle-traps routinely sell around here for $600 – $800, so $500 for any pre-64 ’94 that is in decent shape is a bargain. Buy it – yesterday!

Very fair price for that, buy it. Looks used but not abused. Only thing missing is the front side hood.

Yes , the hood and also in another picture that I didn’t post it looks like the front barrel band screw/bolt and the magazine retainer pin are

It looks to me to just be missing the barrel band screw. There is no magazine retainer pin missing. The channel groove you are seeing forward of the barrel band is for the barrel band screw. Barrel band just needs to be centered over that groove when assembling the screw.
