If anyone has a copy of the 1936 Winchester catalogue, I would very much like to find out what it says about the Model 53. Specifically, what calibers were listed, and where all the listed calibers available in both solid frame and takedown. This is for my research into the Model 53 and an article that I plan to submit to the WACA journal.

I have a 1938 Sales Manual and it states for the Model 53
In June, 1924, the Model53 made its appearance. This was a revision of the famous 92, in which a nickel steel barrel was substituted for the former soft steel barrel, the half magazine was made standard and the dimensions of the stock and fore-end brought up to date. It was issued in three calibers, .25-20, .32 and .44. This model was discontinued in January, 1933, being superseded by the Model 65.
