Gents, I have stumbled across an OLD, 1910 – ish model 94, 15″ Bbl, that has been nikel plated…….

What are the odds that this is a factory finish, did they do that????

Thanks.

The odds are very high that not only is the nickel plating not original, but the 15″ barrel is a cut down. Is it a Rifle or a Carbine? What is the serial number?

As of today, there were just (5) 15-inch Trapper Carbines manufactured in the year 1910, and none of them were factory nickel plated.

Finally got eyes on it today, it is a Saddle Ring, 15″ Bbl, 30 WCF, NOT original finish.

S/n 1,021,XXX which makes it around 1927.

guy had it on a boat in salt water, and had it nikle finished, plus every time they finished the wood on the boat, they finished the wood on the model 94…..

thanks guys……………..

S/N 1021000 was manufactured in the year 1928.

There are three known Trapper Carbines documented in the 1021000 – 1021999 S/N range; 1021206, 1021542, and 1021584.
