Hi Bert, 

Does this one look legit?  All the S.F.P.D. marked carbines I’ve seen have the older style post front sights.  This one has the early ramp front sight with no grooves for a sight hood.  Also, do you have it in your survey?

Yes it does look legit. There were at least (7) of the SFPD Carbines that were manufactured with the newer Proof Steel barrels and ramp front sights.  Yes, I had it listed in the survey.  Of interest, it has the highest (latest) serial number of the (30) SFPD Carbines I have documented thus far.  The below list is all of the confirmed SFPD Carbines;

The S/Ns highlighted at the bottom of the list are all identical to 1087369

I have 1074628. It has a front post sight. FWIW.
