Shell load side of the receiver has been extensively sanded.
Fully operational, loads, chambers and ejects smoothly.

Sister rifle is 1894 .25 x .35 Octagon, full tube functions and fires correctly (previous “boat owner” used a lot of lacquer on it. SN 898680
