I just had a family member part ways with a 1892 Winchester 45. The serial number on the gun is 4050 and I’m trying to find out as much as possible on the gun. It is in great shape and I actually shot two rounds through it yesterday. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

We need pictures to help you. An original 1892 was not chambered in 45. Is this a reproduction? Should be a 44 WCF (44-40).
Sorry the correct Serial number is 7050 not 4050. I am trying to figure out how to add photos to this forum but can’t seem to get them to upload.

You will need to use a 3rd party hosting site for your photo’s. (Imgur, photobucket, etc.)
