OfflineBack in Dec. of 2008 I purchased a 14″ 44 W.C.F. ’92 carbine with the B.A.T.F. clearance paper work. Serial #979881. I only recently realized that it has walnut, not gum wood, stock and forearm. The wood matches nicely and the fit seems perfect. The forearm measures almost exactly 7 7/8″. Is this unusual or normal on the later Trappers? Thanks, RDB
