I have not seen it in person, but the pics make it look pretty crusty. I’m just curios about the “Trapper” variant……  is this legit?  What would be a ballpark value estimate?  I’m going to go take a look at it today, and see if I can get better pics.

Something going on with the gun, front barrel band has been moved (evidence of where it used to be further ahead on barrel), front sight is in wrong location and mag tube is altered.

Very simply, it is a “Frankenchester”.

The front sight is in the wrong position, as stated stock, it’s a parts gun

Good morning John,

Please do take a closer look at the rifle and get the serial number.  The alterations are consistent with rifles I have seen that were used in Argentina as police department arms.   What is inconsistent compared to the rifles I have identified is the rifle butt stock and the lack of Police identifying stamps on the receiver.
