I don’t know anything about the .40-82, but when I was in the service back in ’69-72, I remember reading about an ’86 carbine in .50-110 Express that was brought back from Vietnam. The article was in a gun publication of the period, but I don’t remember which one. Have no idea who had it or what became of this carbine.
