Is their variations in the size of the barrels other than a heavy barrel and the small and large bore.  Will a 92 octagon barrel forearm fit the 73.  I have a 73 third variation 38-40, not a heavy barrel, that I need a used forearm and a lot of ads on e bay list the stocks fit for 73,92 and 94.

Jerry,

There is some variation in the width of the barrels on the 73 in the same caliber. I’ve never compared a 92 or 94 forearm to a 73 so I can’t tell you if they are interchangeable. I do know the Ebay crowd always put the different models in their descriptions even on parts that don’t interchange just to catch the search engine on the site to get more hits.
