The pictured sight is sitting on an Antique Enterprise Muzzleloading rifle.  It sure looks a lot like an early 73 sight except for the ears on the face.  I think I have seen a sight like this before.  Does anyone recognize it?

I would say its a early 66/73 sight that has been files on.

I agree with Bob.  It appears to have been on that rifle for a very long time.
