Finally got a good set of screws for my marbles tang sight, decided to put it on my late serial 73 in 38wcf. What front sights do most of you guys like for the tang sights? This one has a small piece of ivory on the back of the half moon and it stands out okay but I’ve not tested any other types. Would like to possibly use it for some close up hunting here in NC this season with some reloader 7 reloads I’ll make up. The rifle was my first real 73 and found it a show a couple years ago now, barrel is cut shorter by 1.5-2” but it was a good price and started my collection so it gets a pass in my eye lol

The most common combination with a tang sight is the gold washed Beach front. The Beach is a little spendy if its got some gold on it but a Lyman Combination does the same thing but would be cheaper. These front sight can be flipped from a globe with pin to a post type. You use the globe for distant shooting and the post for faster close shooting.

Interesting I’ve seen the globe front sights but I like the idea of that one being able to flip
