I think I posted about this the other day. Since then I have purchased the gun. It is an 84 vintage 73 in 44-40. 26″ barrel with set trigger and letters as such. I have been trying to find numbers on the case colored 73’s and from what I see most of the 73’slike this were deluxe guns. Is the “standard” gun less common than the deluxe case colored 73?

From my research its about 50/50 if I look at deluxe checkered wood as the determining factor for a deluxe gun. Case hardening is the second most popular option with set triggers the most popular by far.
