how much value can be added for a cody lettered short rifle compared to a standard rifle of comparable condition?

I do think condition does influence the percentage. As the gun get closer to mint the percentage would drop.

the gun i just picked up is mostly gray and brown on the outside no pitting. a good shootable bore and nice wood, never sanded. just a good honest gun that hasn’t been fooled with.
