I own serial no. 1824748. “Deer Rifle” 30-30. Has Pachmayer re-coil pad. Redfield Peep Sight. Still has factory sling. Bluing in my estimate about 65%. Points of interest bought in The Dalles Oregon, Old Mill Bargain Center. Is this of any help?
Yes it is, and thank you for contributing to the survey.

Hello Bert, you handle a lot of the models I have. I couldn’t find an actual spot for the Model 64 but found this, hopefully it works.
Model 64 standard, S# 1500958, 32 W.S., Redfield 70 series receiver sight with Redfield dovetail plug- rub mark from original rear sight and hooded gold bead front sight, steel model 70 style butt plate
I really appreciate the compiling of information done here, (apparently a lot by you personally) and hope these few submissions help.

Yes, I am very busy with multiple research surveys (many different Models). If you have not yet read them, I have published articles on nearly all of the Models for which I have research surveys.
Model 64 s/n 1500958 is a Standard Rifle that was manufactured in May 1948. It brings the survey total to 3,539 documented Model 64s.
Thanks again for participating in the research surveys!
