I am looking for anyone that owns an early production Model 43 (serial range 1 – 6000), and can provide me with details on the configuration of the bolt (to include pictures).

Bert-
I have S/N 5104, a standard grade 218 Bee. Do you just need a photo of the bolt in the rifle (straight versus curved bolt handle), or do you need specific views of the bolt removed from the rifle?

I would like to see pictures of the bolt removed from the action, and showing the top, bottom, bolt face, rear, etc. Frankly, I would like to see it fully disassembled, but I realize that would be asking too much of you (or anyone else). Any clear pictures you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

I’ll get the pictures taken in the next little while. Need a day-off and they don’t come around too often…
