Picked up a 55 that my uncle had since about 1930. It is a TD in 25-35 with added Redfield 102 receiver sight,no other mods. SN 4983.

Thanks for the survey information. Can you check the barrel date for me ? It most likely will be “26”.

It is stamped 26. also 25-35 and MNS on the bottom of the barrel, Any idea what MNS stands for?

“MNS” is Midvale Nickel Steel.
