I’ll write CFM to see if the gumwood stocks and sliding sight are original but for now, I forgot to capture the SN# and will get it tomorrow and edit; #345707 or 345797? Anyway, if it’s original then the $1300 asking price may be just a tad high. Comments are appreciated.
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

It definitely has Gumwood stocks, and the factory warehouse ledge records never make mention of it as it was the standard stock material for more than 20-years on the SRCs.
That SRC was been refinished (both wood & steel), and I doubt that the Lyman No. 21 receiver sight is factory original. Accordingly, the $1,300 asking price is too high. This looks like a Cabela’s offering.

Eagle,
First, you make me jealous! I have cataracts, can’t seem to see sh…, but don’t qualify yet for surgery! Second, Bert will tell you that I don’t see well to make determinations of any kind from photos! Hopefully much of that is the need, I guess, to download photos and then enlarge, manipulate or whatever. I don’t do that. I am getting where I don’t trust seeing enough detail on actual, in hand rifles, either! For you younger guys, the accepted test now, for cataract surgery, is inability to read at the 20/40 level when they throw up the eye chart, which is black lettering on a white back lit background (as I am sure you all know). I can do that, but make errors on whether its a P or an F, etc. Still “close enough” I don’t qualify AS OF YET! This upcoming visit may change that!
