I most certainly do.  Many of the SRCs manufactured in 1906/07 are found with the proof mark stamp just forward of the rear sight.  Quite often, they also have the August 14 patent date error marking on them as well.  What is the serial number on the SRC you are looking at?

Does your SRC have a 3-leaf express sight on it versus the more common 44A ladder sight?

That seems to be the common theme.  The 3-leaf express sight was apparently just a bit longer than the 44A, thereby making it necessary to move the proof mark forward of the sight.

The 3-leaf Express sight was an optional (no extra cost) sight for the Model 1894, and is most frequently found on the Pre-WW I SRCs.
