Hello Bert, I was in a local gun shop today and spied this 1886 in his gun rack.  It was in nice shape except for some surface rust where the receiver was worn.

Take down rifle.

But plate looked to be plastic with the Winchester logo?

Rear bbl sight was a flat top.  Front sight looked like a standard sight on a small ramp.

I highly suspect that the barrel is the standard 24″ length.
