For anyone interested in one, I want folks to know that I have one of Shawn’s cases. I actually went up to get it from him. I have found it well made and although not an original, it looks very nice and stands proud in the corner with a few “display rifles”in it. The price is good for the amount of work he puts in to them. Knowing that I wasn’t going to spend the money for an original, you can buy a damn fine 86 for that money, I find it a very nice alternative. Just my two cents.

I also have one of Shawn’s pyramid cases. I opted for beveled glass at a comparatively small extra cost, good choice. Do not be afraid to have him ship the case across the country for you, mine arrived in perfect condition as his skills at building shipping crates are as honed as his woodworking skills. The quality of the build and ease of assembly are equally fabulous. Assembly, which took only about an hour an a half at a leisurely pace, was straightforward and required only basic hand tools. Way to go Shawn! Thanks again!
