I’ve had this old piece of Winchester advertising for about 30 years. Never seen another one. Any idea when it was made, rarity or worth? Many thanks.

Is this out of a shotgun shell box or is it much larger?  Is it tin or paper?  There was a Quail case insert that is 12 1/8 by 8 1/8.

It’s buried in the bottom of my gun vault right now, will try and dig it out tomorrow. That’s probably pretty close to its size, made of fairly heavy cardboard. Thanks for the reply.

Let us know more when you find it.  The two holes don’t help.  A lot of reproductions were made in the 70’s and later.  Contact Wards Collectables, Past Tyme Pleasures and McKunes Sporting Collectables.  They may be able to help.  Not all of them will give appraisals.

Just got my Winchester Collector today.  I should have mentioned Gary and Jennifer Cole as another source for Winchester Collectables..  Any of the people I suggested can help you identify an authentic piece.
