I have a box of Winchester Ammo and it is blue, has Winchester in red letters and white background and Non-Mercuric Staynless in Red on a white background. I suspect it is pre war because the address is Winchester Repeating Arms Co. New Haven Conn USA. I know that if I had Giles book I would not have to ask, but hope you can help or point me to any location on this forum where there are pics of pre and post war ammo.

Sounds like 1930’s blue box’ red Winchester script on white , red non mercuric staynlless and “W” on white
