Anyone know the year of this thing? It’s 38″. I’ve looked in my books and can’t find it. I also googled it and found a lot sold but no dates.

I believe those are from the late 60s.

We had one of those signs in our gun shop in the early to mid 1970’s. I wouldnt think its much earlier than the late 60’s. Still have the sign, somehow though it now has a bullet hole through the rider. Maybe it was an errand bullet that went off when the gun store was gutted by fire in the mid 70’s.

I too, have one of these signs. The fancy hanger is still with it. I found mine years ago, new in the original box they were shipped in. The box, which was dated 1961 has long since disappeared. The sign and hanger are still in as new condition. I have not seen any of these 38" signs for sale, so I don’t know for sure what the value is today. Anyone with an idea?
