OfflineBasic lead (for weight) is about $1 per pound but properly alloyed lead for bullets is going for at least double that. Depending upon the type of lead you have, your 77 lbs is somewhere between $75-$150 on average. At least that is what I have seen lately……

OfflineYou’ll make some caster’s day, lead is getting hard to find in some areas and the cheap scrap (wheelweights) is drying up.

I had a supplier in the NE somewhere who would do that, even had an ingot mould that would make ingots to fit in the flat rate box with minimal movement. She made a deal with her letter carrier to only ship one or two boxes a day, IIRC.
