It sure brings a smile to my face when the younger generation has an appreciation for the old Winchesters. My son bagged a nice gobbler this morning with his Model 1901 10 gauge. He said it was about a 45 yard shot with a 60 year old paper shell with a 1 5/8 ounce load of #6’s. If anyone would like to see a pic I can send it to you for posting.

It’s rare!  Ditto for any old gun. Ditto for any old thing at all!  He did good, & so did you in bringing him up to have that appreciation.

Very nice!  Gives me hope to use my 1901 for something.  I do have a few shells now, thinking of trying it on some trap targets.  Turkey is a really good application!  Appreciate what the young fellow did!!  Tim
