Anyone have any advice on finding 38-40 ammo for range use with  a 1911 1892?

Richard–They are available on Guns International and Gun Broker all the time.

Its cheaper if you can find at gun shows, Like Cody in July, and Denver in May–Bill

Thanks, Bill!

The sellers on GB and GI are very proud of what they have. I look at the offerings on those sites daily. I’m hoping to find less expensive sources.

Thanks, again!

Best, Dick

Honestly, I can’t imagine thinking about shooting these guns without reloading my own ammo. I wouldn’t be able to shoot often and it would cost a fortune. In many cases most of my guns would never be shot.

So true.  That’s why I buy brass and loading dies for calibers that I don’t even own a gun, YET.  Who knows what may come along in the future.

I still need some 25-35 and 33 WCF new brass or new loaded ammo.  Original head stamps and at least 20 rounds or cases.  Would consider new re loads.
