Glenn:
Sorry, the Fg can is gone as are the FFg cans. I have 1 can FFFFg, 5 cans of “Cartridge” and 16 16 cans of FFFg remaining. Will bring all to Cody. Please let me know if anyone wants these and I will reserve on a first come first served basis at $25 each.

Rick-
I could use a few cans of FFFg for my cap and ball revolvers, will probably work fine in my medium bore BP cartridge rifles but have never tried it. Will try to see that you don’t have to haul it home. MLV was a fan of Goex powders but I generally shoot Swiss, KIK and Olde Eynsford when I could get it. C&B revolvers don’t go through much powder but they are a hoot to shoot!

Mike:I’ll drop them by your table so you can check them out.
I’ll bring a revolver or two with my “C&B box” and we can have a little fun off the edge of the parking lot. 😉 We have a new member who is getting curious about BP in a big bore rifle but he’ll need the larger granulations. I’m running a little low of the bigger chunks myself.

Rick, Don’t smoke in the car on your way down to Cody..

Zeb:
Bringing my lightweight 20-gauge A5 that I bought new in 1958 when I was 16 years old. Upgraded from my Winchester Model 42. Ordered it new from Browning with a left-handed safety as my master eye is/was my left eye and I shoot left-handed. Unfortunately, I couldn’t afford the rib barrel at the time, so it has a standard modified choke barrel. Hate to part with it but since I’m 83 and haven’t fired it since moving from Texas in 1996 i figure it’s time to make my kids happy and stat to “declutter”.
If you know someone who needs a nice well cared for scatter gun look me up in Cody!

I’m older than dirt but you’re two years older! It’s a good thing you and that A5/20 are going to be 1100 miles away from me or I might get weak and lose my resolve. Won’t make Cody this year and I’m doing right now what you’re doing. Ive sold 4 in the last month with 3 more being made ready.
Because it’s a Light Twenty, yours won’t stay on your table long. Those balance better without the rib. My son has the Miroku built version I took in for a fee once and it’s a wonderful bird gun. I did have it reamed to *** .
I’ve tried to make myself sell my 1955 A5 Light 12 – it has the 28″ plain barrel choked * — tighter than a mouse’s anal orifice. My solution was one only somebody like you would understand. I blew serious Collect-R-Bucks for an as- new 26″ VR backbored Invector Plus barrel and put the original barrel in the safe. Thrifty soul that I am. Every time I take it out of storage to sell it, I put it back and say, “Hell, let my brother-in-law deal with it.”
Safe travels. See if Mike Hupp won’t steer Jeremy P. over to look at it.

Bill-
I have an extra gun sock in the car I can loan you but likely not enough dead presidents to convince that little shotgun to follow me home. Jeremy is helping you hold down the fort in Texas this week. I think we found a shotgun that fits Jeremy’s needs for now, he clubhoused his doubles on station 6 and 7 his first time out with the gun, even went after and hit the big pieces of his high house bird on station 6. I hope he doesn’t make a habit of that. 😁

Good on Jeremy. No, Rick’s 20 gauge will not be coming to Texas, as much I admire the breed. As soon as Ron calls me to come pick up that bargain M50, my shotgun searching days are done. I wanted him to deep clean it and verify good spring tension. My fond hope is to pass shoot some doves with it in the Fall if I can find some decent day leases within driving distance.

Chuck:Just sold the FFG stuff. Will bring anything you want to Cody. Just let me know. Shipping is certainly a gross pain!
Thanks for the powder. I should have bought more of the Cartridge. A couple friends brought it back to Ca. for me. I’ll pick it up next week at the range.

Chuck-
Sorry, I think I got the rest of it. I’m looking forward to a C&B revolver session with the FFFg. I don’t think Rick took any powder home.

Oh, you’re the guy. I did get some FFF too. I’m set for life now. I only shoot black in the Henry and 66. I’m going to use black to fire form some of the 50-125 Sharps cases I picked up at Cody.
I had to go to the gun shop today to pick up about 60 lbs of lead for a friend. I was able to buy a pound of FFg for $12. Still might need one more?
