Just bought a very nice 69A. Has a hooded front sight and was originally equipped with an adjustable peep. Since it resembles a 69A target that I have also, It also has a grooved receiver and the sight was removed and it had a Mossberg Nomad 4 power scope in some really interesting rings. I guess my question is that an unusual combination. Unfortunately it did not come with the back sight except for the scale to raise the peep.

That particular scope isn’t listed in the 1959 Stoeger’s cat., but the tip-off mounts are shown & described as “new.” Suspect the Nomad was somewhat later, but I don’t have any later Stoeger’s to compare.
