Wanted to share this one for the 22 fans. Just arrived. It bares the Winchester stamp and name. For those who aren’t aware of Cooey Firearms, purchased by Winchester and made in Canada. I’ve looked for a long time for a high condition one and finally found this one practically new but without the box. Mint bore. Model 64 Deluxe. Paid $200 in U.S dollars.

Congrats, Rick. I don’t think I’ve ever had a good look at one of these, good job on the pics. That looks like fun!

My Wife Dianne bought Me this Mod. 600 Cooey for Our first Christmas together 1966. It cost $32.00, about a weeks pay for Her at the time. I don’t know how many jack rabbits that gun has executed but We would go out on Saturdays, wintertime,  and usually would get 15 or 20 or so. We would then sell them, $1.25 each, to a local trapper who would skin them out and sell the carcass for mink food. This little Cooey has paid for itself many times over, in money, delicious cotton tail stew, but mostly in memories. As of this Christmas it will belong to My youngest granson, 10, who has accompanied Me to the gun range on many occassions and is a helluva good shot.20241219_090250.jpgImage Enlarger

Great story and memories Henry. Also nice little Mod. 600 with honest wear and sentimental value!
