I like it but it’s not a factory Junior Target:
Chambering is the earlier style: SHORT, LONG & LONG RIFLE not S,L OR LR.
Front sight is wrong.
Receiver isn’t grooved.
No front sling swivel.
Stock notch for the Lyman 57 is not big enough.
Rear sight blank filler isn’t Winchester.

I like it a lot too, but agree with your assessment.
