A complete novices here. Other than the rear sight are there any other differences between the 2? Same question for differences with a standard rifle.
Don’t believe so, though JWA will correct me if I’m wrong. The Lyman 57E on the Match was more precise than the Huddleston sight on the Target, though the latter was better than most rear sights on guns in the 69’s price range. The standard 69 could be had with either the Huddleston peep or (for the incorrigibly ignorant) an open brl sight, but it lacked swivels.

Both rifles have a different stock than a standard M69-A. Both are in 22 LR only, tight chambers, have straight bolt handles, and have 6 groove bbls. May be some other differences other than the factory installed swivels. Big Larry

For you my friend. Hot off the camera of my friend Tom. A Match and Target M69-A’s. The real deal. Big Larry
Too good for me! I’m looking for the condition that Larry would reject.
Here you go Clarence………

That same gun has been listed at the same price for right about one YEAR. Seller can afford to wait, considering he has no more than maybe $200 in it, I’d wager, if not less.

Well, I can certainly see why. Not a correct stock, missing a $75 magazine, and a real POS. I would not put that in my safe. It would scare all the others away. Big Larry

I knew the stock was far too good to belong with the metal, though the checkering, coarse as it is, doesn’t bother me.
You’d think the seller would at least splurge $25 for a repro mag.
