Mailman just dropped off my copy.  Wife goes bowling tonight so I will have a quiet night to read.

Jeff,  mine came yesterday and I’ve dipped into it just enough to see it is a monumental work that will stand for all time as the Last Word on its subject.

The icing on the cake are the many colorful illustrations of Winchester marketing materials, very accurately reproduced.

My wife complained how heavy the book is.  She’s the one who picked it up off the front porch.   It made me smile when I saw the letter from Winchester to your family member.   Your father?

I’m more confused.

Mine arrived today, and I have devoured the first 150 pages. What a great book!  And it came with the same # as was inscribed on my book on the Model 69.  Thank you for that! (I’m sure that is a grand pain to accomplish, but it is a very nice gesture and I am grateful for it.) Laugh

I appreciate JWA’s great eye for detail, and the clear writing and excellent pictures.  I am learning more with each page.

Thank you to the author and to his many helpers who made this book a reality.

As to its subject matter, Jeff’s work stands alone and likely will remain the standard reference for the Model 75 for all time. I cant imagine there is anything of any significance whatsoever left to say about this model. No serious collector of Winchester rimfires should be without it.

Agreed! Now some of y’all know I wasn’t pulling your leg about JWA’s latest book. Jeff is modest but I’ll take the opportunity to brag on him a little.

Already had my first lessons.  It took some help from Jeff.  I’m a slow learner. 75 targets don’t have checkered stocks.  1st model barreled actions should have Winchester sights not Lyman.  All barrels are tapped for scope mounts.  I might need more than 1 lesson and rifle.

What an accomplishment Jeff! Detailed, profusely illustrated, a vast amount of assiduously collected and complided data.

What a wonderful addition for the Winchester Collector’s library!

Thank You Sir!

A fabulous piece of work Jeff. I don’t know how you find the time to do all that you do.

Thank you,

I received both of my books a few days ago, and am just starting to get into them, as they are well put together and planned out, as expected by JWA!

I can go on and on, as far as the quality of information, the great referencing with illustrations and pictures.

I do enjoy the, “Yellow”, high lighted words, and important sentences!

Thanks Again Jeff! Smile

Thanks Anthony,

The first book did not have the yellow highlighting so you had to pay close attention to what changed from one variation to the next so I started highlighting the changes in the subsequent books (as much for me as you) to make it easier to follow what components actually changed.

I am glad you found it useful and I plan to continue that technique in the future books.

Greetings😊

I just saw the new book was out and was looking to order one. I was delighted with the Model 69 book I had purchased at the museum, and was most pleased to meet the author at the Cody show.  Is there a preferred website for ordering one?

Thanks and have a great day😊
