I’ve noticed that on the Winchester A5 scopes, some of the front mounts are marked with :
PAT. NOV.5.1907.
and some are marked
PAT. NOV.5.1907.
JUNE 7.1910.
I’ve come across one of the former in fairly good condition.
Is there any significance to the difference?

No diff in the mounts, & no 1910 pat on the scope or mounts that I’ve ever been able to find. Could it apply to the offset mounts? Don’t know, but two markings seem about equally common.
