Was the take down screw on case colored 2nd model Winchester 1890’s also case colored or was it blued? I don’t find the discussion in Schwing all that clear on the subject and would appreciate your input on this issue. Thanks.

The take-down screw on case colored era Winchester model 1890’s were case colored. Also, Blued 2nd model and early 3rd model 1890’s will have a case colored takedown screw as well as hammer and butt plate.
