I recall seeing T22 in the stores way back. I may have used them, just don’t recall. For trivia sake, a collective grouping of crows is called a murder of crows.
We sure did murder a lot of murders of crows. We both used shotguns with 3 rounds a piece. Jumped up and shot all rounds and then went and picked up the murdered crows. Moved locations and did the same. My Dad’s call was a tape of an owl and crows played on a tape player with an external speaker.

Lt. Mike, don’t feel bad about not knowing. I have been around for many summers and I just learned it wasn’t “Target” specific ammo. I have been saving some just for that purpose. My ignorance never ceases to amaze me! At least now, thanks to this post, I won’t show up to my first competition with T-22 ammo. RDB
I thought it was supposed to be target ammo, was very disappointed. Wasn’t even as good as the cheap stuff but it was fun to shoot.

If by “target,” you mean match quality, how could that be possible at an “economy” price? Some makers use “target” merely to designate standard velocity–in other words, ammo for plinking at paper, tin cans, etc.
Chuck the only shot gun we had was an old single shot brake open that belonged to my grandfather, I don’t think I ever saw anyone actually shoot it. I never thought of shooting crows as “murder” just another chore. An enjoyable chore I’ll have to admit. It was more like self defense, left alone crows can do a lot of damage to a new field of corn. They will continue to pull the new sprouts up until the plants get a couple of inches tall.
As I recall we had 4 different fields and three or four different “murders” hit all of them 2 or 3 times a day, seems I was averaging about 40 or so crows a week, not too bad for a 7 year old with 2 boxes of shells, a least most folks around the farm thought so anyway.
I was reading in older posts, in the survey section, about a survey on 1990, 1906, 62 and 62A’s that Bert H. was going to write an article about their findings. Does any one know anything about his article? Or maybe I should start a new Topic. I have 3 Winchester pumps and a couple of autos and would like to know what he has to say.
