Was @ a gunshow, this past Sunday, looked at a nice mechanical condition 62A for $200, needs some refinishing, but the barrel was “D&T’d” for a barrel scope mount.
Next some @ end of month [if it last’s], may want to horse-trade to lower price.
Where would I try for NOS Winchester barrel?

I believe your chance of finding a NOS barrel for a 62A is about the same as getting struck by lightning. The best you can probably do is diligently watch the auction sites for a good condition used one. ( used will probably match the condition of your rifle better if it’s any consolation) Good luck on your hunt.

I agree with Erin and will add that if you do indeed find a NOS Winchester barrel it will typically only be marked with the mail order proof. If you use a good condition “take-off” barrel it will be appropriately proofed and will raise the value of the rifle.
