Pictures of your 74 would be very helpful in determining value. If it is truly one of the SOG configured rifles then it will command a significant premium over a standard d&t’d Model 74.
I have 2 of the SOG rifles and both have the Parker Hale mounts on the receiver, not the barrel. Both of mine are nearly identical. Here are some photos of one of them.

I have a Winchester Model 74 22 LR rifle, manufactured 1941, possibly for sniper duty in England during WWII. It has pre-drilled holes in barrel to mount a scope. Can someone help with establishing value. Gun is in very good condition.
Does it have any British commercial proof marks?
