Last year I purchased a M75T from the Paxton Littlepage estate (3,313 modern firearms) sold over 13 auction sessions.  The rifle is new and unfired with sling. At preview the actions are tiewrapped. At home when I removed the clip it was, oh no it’s not working, the oh, okay. My question is when new in the bow would a 5 round mag have been included?  #86740 (1956). JWA?

Yes, when NIB a 5 rd magazine was supplied as standard unless a single shot adapter or 10 rd magazine was specifically requested.

Thanks for the info JWA. I was thrilled to acquire the rifle in that condition. The chances of finding an original five round mag in new condition are near zero, but I’ll stay on the hunt.

Is the magazine that came with the M75 a single shot magazine or is it just seized up?  RDB
