Carrying a Winchester ’94 or ’92… hunting deer on the western slopes of Colorado… with bear sign about…   

That is living plenty large!  I envy the memories.

  

Family friends that lived in Montrose, owned 2500 acres up on the mountain top. The land was homesteaded many years back. Prime hunting land until oil shale was found on the land and it was sold. We never were able to hunt there again.  Big Larry
