Thank you for responding. I had to watch a youtube video to learn how to take it apart! The barrel is stamped 53. I hope this information helps others get more accurate dates for their rifles.

Ive been reading and appreciate everyones input. I have a model 62 with matching #s….. The lower tank is italic font 90076 and the reciever is block letters 90076A.
However the foregrip is small unlike the larger grip on a 62A. What other differences can i look for between 62 and 62A?
