How rare is the 67 with 96b peep sight and hooded ramp front sight? Order number -G6780R in the 1948 catalog.

Hi Vince,

I assume you meant the 96A peep as the 96B was only used on the Model 69.  The G6780R is not super rare but certainly hard to find.  The 67 was offered with the 96A when the model 68 was discontinued since the only difference between the 67 and 68 was the sight package so Winchester was able to consolidate the line.  The G6780R usually brings a premium over the standard Model 67 but usually no more 2x the $$.

Hope that helps.

Best Regards,

Just a simple question, on the 67, should the mussel crown be blued or were they always left in the white?

The crown should always be blued on the 67 and 67A.
