Hi All,
I ran across an exceptional 9417 made in the Winchester Custom Shop. It had figured wood and jeweled load/ejection port. I havent seen another 9417 from the custom shop and would expect this to be extremely rare especially given the short production on the normal 9417. Any idea on what I should offer, there cant be but a few of these in existence?

It would need to be verified as coming from th custom shop in it’s present configuraton then We’d need some pictures in order to give any idea of value. Sounds like a nice piece.

Does it come with the original box?

I went back and was able to purchase the gun. The gun does have the custom shop proof on the barrel alongside the regular Winchester proof. I have absolutely no doubt this gun is what it is. The upgraded options on it are jeweling and the wood from what’s visible. Usually they get action and barrel work too but without the custom shop order letter I can’t be certain. The gun looks to be NOS. I have pics but don’t think I can post them on here without help.

Does it come with the original box?
Unfortunately no box, They are selling off some pieces of a deceased collector and besides some cased guns nothing has the boxes… ugh…
