Bert:

Thanks

I deleted my post (I think). I tried to include pictures in my post to the forum, but was unable to do so.

How do I get permission to join the forum and post pictures.

John

Here are the pictures of my Model 1903.

“Engraved” might not be the correct term – maybe etched would be more appropriate. The patterns are rabbit and squirrel, which I understand to be traditional Winchester themes. The scenes are like those pictured on page 174 of Renneberg’s “The Winchester Model 94” book. I’m hoping this rifle will be a factory product, but perhaps a prior owner was an artist who liked his Model 1903. Any comments regarding this rifle would be appreciated.

Thanks,

John
