The rear sight (96A) was specific to the Model 68 and also used occasionally on the Model 67 (G6702R and G6780R) as Cranky2 mentioned so they are a bit harder to find than the 4 piece 97A front sight which was used on multiple other models.
Be careful you purchase the correct 96A rear sight. It should have a “point” at the front. The 96B sight has a ‘blunt” front and was used on the Model 69, not the 68. Some of the eBay sellers do not know the difference so broaden your search to include both and use the pictures to determine if it is the correct sight.

Don’t forget, the Winchester dovetails are tapered, when looking down the barrel from the receiver the sights should be driven-in from right to left.
