Greetings,

Are the two rib and three rib magazines interchangeable in the Model 69A?

Will both work in that model?

I have the terrific book on the Model 69 and the different magazines are described very well, but I can’t find a clear statement that they are interchangeable

Mike, this mag was the same one developed in 1919 for the Model 52, & used subsequently in every other bolt-action .22 repeater through the Model 69A. There are different markings on the floor-plates, but they’re all interchangeable, inc. the excellent repros made by Wisner’s, which are the ones I usually use.

I had always passed on a two rib magazine thinking it wouldn’t fit. I learn so much from this group.
