I have a 62 A made in 1946 its in great original condition. The question I have is it has a 20 inch barrel and want to know did they make them on special order with the shorter barrel ? Any help is appreciated. Not sure how to insert a picture. Thanks Todd

While almost anything was possible from Winchester, I personally would be highly suspicious of a 20-inch barrel on a Model 62A.

Thanks Bert for your thought but it looks 100 % factory I live close to where they were made and wondered if they could have had the custom shop in the plant do it ?
Also does it have any effect on its value.
Would be happy to enclose some pictures if that would help.
