Use an aluminum punch to tap it forward, they are slightly higher than the receiver so it’s pretty easy to just catch the edge to push it towards the barrel. If you don’t have an aluminum punch you could try a short piece of dowel rod. It usually doesn’t take much to get them to move. Might help to soak it with penetrating oil for a day prior.

UPDATE: I tried with a wooden and a plastic dowel. The edge of the cover is so sharp, it just removed material from the dowels. I’ve order an aluminum sight punch from Dawson. It has a square end and should give more purchase. I’ll update once I receive it and give it a try.

I’m assuming you want to remove the bolt……. Don’t pry the slide arm up to disengage the bolt,(you will bend it) remove the inner then the outer magazine tube first then simply lift the forearm assembly out of the bolt. The outer is held in place by a small pin in the lower magazine band. Drive it out from left to right as you are looking down the rifle.
