Does sound a bit short, would be curious about barrel stamping and pics of the barrel and dovetails from the last few inches of the magazine tube forward.

With a serial # in the 370,000 it was not a 22 LR when it left the factory. The 22 LR was not available until the 620,000 serial range (1919) Is there a circle P stamp on the barrel? (Not WP) That would indicate a non factory replacement barrel. Barrels other than 24″ were available special order. Seeing as the barrel does not match the receiver, chances are it’s a modified barrel.
