I have model 1890 that is a 1st model w.r.f and I was wondering what the value might be ,I know it based on condition.I would say this gun is about 80%.Let me thank you in advance.

Can you provide pictures of it? A First Model 1890 in 80% graded (original) condition is a rare rifle, and could be worth a pile of $$$$$.

Not many solid frames in good condition are left to be had, that’s for sure. I thought I got lucky finding a second variation in 22wrf… would love to see the pics.
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

He did send me a few pictures, but they are thumbnail sized… way too small to see any details. I asked him to resend the pictures full sized.

Back in the day when I was picking for Walt a first model parts gun was close to $1,000. Who knows 10 years later? I know what I paid for mine just a few years ago and it does not have much of the color on the receiver.
